Student HowTo

Student Interface:

There is at present, no student log in. Access to your respective site is gained via a stable URL given to you by your teacher.The student site interface appears thus in your browser:


There are two ribbon menus; one near the top and one near the bottom of the student page. These contain links to various parts of the student site.
The top menu contains links to the class assignments, your homework files, and your journal.

The assignment link

opens to a post which lists all assignments made by the teacher. The latest teacher post appears at the top of the list.

The homework link

opens to a folder interface. The folders usually include NewHomework and CompletedHomework. Files can be uploaded and dowloaded in them. The student is able to download worksheet files from the newhomework folder. The student is able to upload the completed worksheet to the completedHomework folder.

The journal link

opens to a private weblog, which the student can post periodic observations, research drafts etc. as the teacher may request.
The bottom menu contains links to the class library, resources page, howto's and support.
